Prayer

I believe in prayer, the power of prayer and you can never have too many people praying for you.  I ask you to pray for each of these girls, their families and all the medical staff who will care for them.  I know the GOD we serve will be with them as they go through these times.  I just ask you lift them up by name as you pray.

Baby Ellee is having open heart surgery tomorrow at Children's Hospital.  Ellee is only 4 months old and was born with a heart defect.

Also Baby Brynn.  Brynn is not here yet and will not be until March but her parents learned today that she has a heart defect.  Her big sister Blakeney will be 1 on Saturday has a heart defect as well.  Both of these girls will require surgery in the future.

I know I can count of each of you to lift them up in prayer and  THANK YOU!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

We had a pretty easy day.  We went to Russ's Maw Maw's for lunch and then a visit to my parents.  We had thanksgiving with my family last Sunday due to Amy and Gabe going to Kentucky to visit his family.  We missed you today Amy and Gabe.
Here are a few pictures from our day.  I forgot to get pictures at my parents.

Brief nap before the festivities

Hudson really took up with Nealy Scott.

Four generations

and a tired little boy

He is not happy with me here.  I woke him up from his nap.

Finally, Hudson is happy.  Hudson has started clapping.  You can say "YAY Hudson" and he will smile really big and clap.  This is the best picture we could get of the process.  Of course Hudson would stop when he noticed the camera going off.

Pulling up

Hudson has been pulling up for a few weeks.  One night I thought I would attempt to put him to bed awake.  Hudson got extremely quite and Russ went to check on him and this is what he found.  Hudson not only standing up in his bed
but attempting to climb out of his bed.

He is getting much better at pulling up and now thinks he can pull on on EVERYTHING.

Crawling

Hudson has been crawling for a while.  At home he mostly army crawls but will crawl on his hands and knee's at times.  I contribute the army crawling to our hardwood floors and his knees sliding out from under him.  Put him on carpet or remove the clothes and he will take off on his hands and knee's.

Just like daddy

Russ and I ordered Hudson his first pair of cowboy boots.  We thought it would be a great Christmas present.  Well they came in the mail and they are too darn cute.  So we decided neither one of us was strong enough to wait until Christmas so we are celebrating Thanksgiving.

Here is a few pictures of Hudson in his cowboy boots.....isn't he the best looking cowboy around?

Bathtime

How does bathtime go from this in April

 to this in November?
There was a time in between April and November that Hudson actually liked bathtime.  Although happy bathtime was only for a short time.  Now that Hudson can pull up he refuses to sit in the tub and attempts to climb out the entire time.  Yes this makes for a very difficult bathtime.  Just to let me know how much he hates bathtime Hudson pees on me every night.

Here is one more from bathtime just because.
